What is a Vajacial treatment?
A Vajacial is a specialized skin treatment for the intimate area. It's similar to a facial, but focuses on the vulva and bikini line. During the treatment, the skin is cleansed, exfoliated, and moisturized with gentle, skin-friendly products. Sometimes masks, serums, or hydrating gels are also used to soothe and condition the skin.
What is it good for?
A Vajacial offers multiple benefits for the skin of the intimate area: Removal of dead skin cells and impurities: Prevents ingrown hairs and reduces irritation after hair removal. Hydration and conditioning: Keeps the skin supple and soft. Reduction of skin irritation and redness: Soothing products help sensitive skin. Improved skin texture and radiance: Helps soften dark spots and uneven skin tone. Relaxing effect: Like a facial, a Vajacial can provide a moment of self-care and relaxation.
See how it works
Stap 1
Hair removal (waxing / shaving / sugaring)
Before starting your vajacial, it's important to depilate the area to your liking. ✨ Important: Always wait 24 hours between depilating and performing the remaining steps of the vajacial. This prevents irritation and gives the skin time to calm and recover. This recovery period ensures that the skin tolerates the rest of the treatment better and delivers better results.
Step 2
Scrub for a smooth base
Good exfoliation is essential to prevent ingrown hairs and to prepare the skin for further care. Preferably use: Viareline Sugar Scrub: gentle yet effective, perfect for smooth, even skin Exfoliating Scrub Glove – ideal for removing dead skin cells and stimulating blood circulation 💡 Always scrub with gentle movements and avoid open wounds.
Step 3
Steam for deep hydration & pore opening
Steam opens pores, softens skin and makes ingrown hairs easier to loosen. Use: Vajacial – Face Steamer This professional home steamer provides a constant, warm steam that: Relaxes the skin Opens pores Prepares the skin for a mask Loosens ingrown hairs Softens sebum and dirt Steam for 5–10 minutes at a comfortable distance
Step 4
Applying the Vajacial Mask
Once your skin is prepped, you can apply a targeted mask. Use one of the 22 mask variations from the Lunita Vajacial Mask Collection, depending on your skin's needs. These masks help with: Restoring the skin barrier Removing dead skin cells Reducing redness Soothing bumps Nourishing & hydrating the intimate skin. Leave the mask on according to the instructions.
Step 5
Remove mask & moisturize
Remove the mask with lukewarm water or a soft cloth. Afterwards, it is important to nourish and protect the skin. Use: After Treatment / Shave Oil This nourishing oil helps with: Calming the skin Soothing redness Reducing ingrown hairs Restoring moisture balance Keeping the area smooth and supple💡 For skin with many dead skin cells or quickly ingrown hairs: Use our Ultrasonic Dead Skin Shovel to cleanse the skin extra deeply and make ingrown hairs easier to loosen.
Step 6
